This week, students began learning about new communities that started to form in the diaspora in a post Second Temple world and how they were challenged and influenced by the rise of Islam and Christianity. Next week, we will work on crafting our own maps to show these changes.
This week in Algebra I part 2, we’re finishing 7.4 (Radical Expressions), defining rational and irrational numbers, and starting 7.5 (Exponential Functions).
This week in art the students finished their Notans. Some students added lines, patterns and color to their positive spaces. They all did a great job - it is almost like putting a puzzle together!
