MUSIC

Roll out your yoga mat, watch Morah Lana read Zin! Zin! Zin! A Violin and get ready for some Musical Instrument Yoga moves https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kw98dlBcV6c&t=6s

Number:
Look at the Musical Instruments picture (attached) and begin counting.  Write your answers in the space provided, or have an adult write the numbers for you. http://drive.google.com/file/d/1Xf6fBkyYWzFPnYRmNhEqA8zrnkHpBjo5/view?usp=sharing

Language:
It's letter Z.  Cut out the letter Z (attached) and fill it with lots of little z letters in all different colors.  Think of words that begin with the letter 'z' and write them down, perhaps there's space inside the 'z' you just cut out. (zig, zag, zoo, zebra, zip...) http://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ou8o5L31P-DiXp1yoUndkBrcWi-ru6Pg/view?usp=sharing

Watch Morah Haley read Sylvester and the Magic Pebble, by William Steig https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=46UmczVCXp0

Art:
After watching Morah Haley read Sylvester and the Magic Pebble, your child can make their own magic pebble! Take a trip outside to hunt for some rocks and have your child pick their favorite, or favorites, to paint. Children can paint their rock shiny, bright red like Sylvester’s, or their favorite color. Once the first coat dries, your child can paint shapes, numbers, letters, or any other ideas to make it a special magic rock!

Gross Motor:
Play Door, Floor, More! Here's how:
Adult calls out a word and the child(ren) run to touch the object. This might be a better game to play outdoors with more space.
'Door!'
'Floor'
'Wall'
'Stairs'
'Window'
'lamp'
'kitchen door'
'dining room chair'
'tree, bicycle, trampoline, ball, basketball hoop, dog...'
