Happy Purim!

Dear Ezra Community,

While Thursday may have been a bit of a gloomy day outside, we filled our classrooms and hallways with song, celebrations, and lots of laughter!

Having the opportunity to learn about and practice all four of the mitzvot of Purim was a wonderful experience for students and staff alike and it was amazing to be together as a community.

Much of the spirit of Purim is about ve-naafoch-hu, literally, to turn something upside down and today was a day that really celebrated that.

I want to express my gratitude for the teachers and staff who made this week so incredible for our students, to our seventh and eight graders for a spirited Megillah reading, and to our students who showed up with so much energy and gusto and made the day so much fun to celebrate.

A huge thank you goes out to Jen Ruth and the PTO who spent countless hours preparing, packaging, and distributing our beautiful mishloach manot bags so that our community can continue the celebration at home!

Wishing you all a Purim Sameach and a Shabbat Shalom,
