This week we are beginning our study of the eastern Mediterranean countries, including Turkey.  To introduce the country, which I briefly visited in 2002 on a cruise of the Greek Islands, seeing the ruins at Ephesus, I showed the class this video to give them a sense of the character of the people: https://youtu.be/ncrv5GeK-hM

 

In art we talked about Japanese art and started to create watercolor paintings in that style.
